Introduction:
This is a general guideline to subscribe as a user. During free registration offers, you will not require to input credit card information to pay the subscription. You can display the registration directions in any language by selecting it from the Language selection list. You are required to complete the mandatory fields in the Information, Profile Edit and Photos pages and pay the registration period fee (unless you have a free offer).
As soon as your information is verified and your photos checked by the administrator, you will be able to search for users and send or receive likes or messages. If the administrator finds any issue, you will receive and email in the language you selected to correct it, otherwise you will receive an approval message to start using the site.
Directions:
Click on Register (above the main Menu) in the Home page. This leads you to the Introduction page to start the process.
Introduction page
Input the mandatory fields: First Name, Middle Name (optional, leave blank if none), Last Name (Surname); select your Date of birth (Year, Month and Day); you must be 18 or older; select your sex (Male or Female). Select the Country, State or Province and City where you live; if your cannot find the City name, select the closest city from your location. Then input your valid email address: it will be used by the site to confirm your registration and send you notifications. Select the Language you choose for your notifications (regardless of what language you are using to register). If your subscription is not free, select the duration (1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months) of your subscription; check the Automatic Renewal check box if you want to do automatic payments. Finaly, enter the User Name you want to use; DO NOT use your real name (example: JohnSmith) as a user name, so nobody can identify you or search for your real information; you can use your first name followed by a number or other characters (example: maria1984); The site will reject it if it has been used by someone else. Then enter a safe Password (use combination of uppercase, lowercase and numbers; then reenter it (write the user name and password to remember it) and click on ACCEPT and SAVE.
The site will check for missing or incorrect entries; if everything is OK, it will save the page and show you a green acceptance message, otherwise you will see one or more red messages indicating wrong inputs.
Payment or Free subscription: The site will take you to credit card payment or skip to Profile edit if you have a free subscription offer. Enter your credit card information and click on Pay Subscription. Then select Me -> Profile Edit in the main menu.
Profile Edit:
There are only 5 mandatory fields (indicated by a brown label) that you need to complete in your profile for it to get approved: Body type, Languages you speak/ understand, your self descriptiion (I am...), your Vision of married life and the description of who you search for (I serch for:), although it is best if you complete as many fields as you can. The reason is that you and the user who reads your profile, if they are interested in a good and practising catholic, will read these fields to see if you take your Faith seriously regarding Catholic Marriage: please take your time completing these fields and be sincere and direct.
Afterwards complete the rest of the fields and click on the Save button. Before completing the Shield Filter section, please read the guidelines below to make sure you understand it well.
Shield Filter:
This is a feature of the site which most other sites do not have, and it is very convenient to prevent undesired users to find you (example: people of age outside your accepted range; people not from your country or your state/ province). Not completed fields will not affect who can see you.
An example will help you understand how this works: if you are 30 years old and select an Age Range from 25 to 35, only users of the opposite sex of age range 25 through 35 will be able to find you in a search, which means: you will be INVISIBLE to anyone 24 or younger or 36 or older. Another example: if you live in United States and you select: Lives in My Country, any user who lives outside United States will not be able to find you in a search and therefore, he/ she will not be able to contact you.
This allows users not to be bothered with messages from other users outside his/ her prefences. You have to be very careful when you use this feature to avoid blocking users whom you do want to find you.
Uploading Photos:
You must upload at least one Face (square) and two Profile (body, any shape) for your profile to be approved. See the My Photos page header for directions on how to upload your photos from MsWindows, Macintosh (MacBook, iPhone, iPad, iMac) or Android-OS devices. Also:
- You must be present in all photos or they will not be approved.
- Please use good-resolution and clear photos for your profile, out of respect for other users.
- As most Catholic sites, photos with you or others wearing only a swimsuit (men or women) will not be accepted.
- Indecent photos (showing too much cleavage, too tight or too revealing) will not be accepted. |
